As the first portable media player, Sony Walkman NW-Z1000 runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3 OS. The new Walkman PMP will be available for purchase on December 2011 in Japan. It is equipped wia 4.3-inch glare resistant display with 800 x 640 resolution. Sony Walkman NW-Z1000 is Sony's first portable media player to incorporate Google's popular Android mobile operating system.
